The Take The Roof Off Winter (TTROW) logo is designed as an identifying brand for use by event leaders, groups, schools, businesses, and communities supporting the Take The Roof Off Winter campaign.
The logo was created to raise awareness of Take The Roof Off Winter as a community-driven opportunity for Nova Scotians to improve their health by playing outdoors, being active throughout the winter months. Anyone supporting Take The Roof Off Winter is invited to use the logo under the following conditions:
Using the Logo on Your Own Materials
If you are producing promotional materials to encourage participation in your own TTROW event, you can incorporate the TTROW logo into the design by downloading the logo files on this page.
Commercial vs. Non-Commercial Use of the TTROW Logo
Commercial use is when the logo is reproduced directly or indirectly on any product or object
intended to be marketed or resold in any manner.
Such commercial use of the TTROW logo is strictly prohibited.
However, you can use the TTROW logo on all printed material directly related to promotion of your activity or event, such as letterhead, public service announcements, newspaper ads, posters, flyers, invitations and so on.
Businesses that sponsor local TTROW events are entitled to have their corporate logos appear along with the TTROW logo on all print materials that are directly related to the advertising and promotion of the event(s) they sponsor.
Please note, however, that in keeping with the physical activity and healthy promotion message, there can be no association with tobacco, liquor or beer companies or industry .
Communities may use the TTROW logo in conjunction with the name of their town/city and/or city crest, logo or department name.
Using the Name without the Surrounding Graphics
When using the program name in any text, it should be written the following way:
Take The Roof Off Winter' or 'www.TakeTheRoofOffWinter.ca' Note the capital letter used for the first letter of each word
