Guinness World Record Attempt‘Snow Angel’ Challenge

On February 10th 2011 at 1:00pm, Nova Scotia students, parents, teachers and
organizations took on the challenge of beating the Guinness World Record for
the most snow angels made simultaneously.

The current record of 15,851 snow angels was set on February 2, 2004 at 2
p.m. by 60 schools in the London District Catholic School Board, Ontario.

The unofficial number of snow angels made in Nova Scotia was 23,803!  These
happened simultaneously in 141 locations.

We have not heard from Guinness World Records as to whether this is an
official title yet.
